The 161stJanmaDiwas of Swami Vivekananda Annual Day of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya and National Youth Day Celebration-Report-2024

Ø         The gracious event was initiated with the lighting of the lamp by our honourable Mann. Hanumantaraoji, Vice President, VRM & VK.

ØThe celebration began with ‘VandaeMaatharam’ song by the students of class IX . The music filled ‘Swami Vivekananda Sabhagriham’ with the spirit of patriotism and national integration.

Ø Our Principal,Smt.Sariga cordially welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report.

Ø The excellent school choirs sang an energetic song on Swami Vivekananda.

Ø Mann. Hanumantaraoji presided over the function.


Highlighted few important points:

·        Life of Swami Vivekananda is the life of Mother Bharath.

·        Milloins of people sacrificed their  livesfor the peace of the world, to save the society, our culture and for the betterment of the nation.

·        Threw light on the life of Swami Vivekananda and Swamiji’s qualities -trust, honesty and fearlessness.

·         Envisioned an ‘Eternal Bharath’, a nation only enduring but continuously evolving in a harmonious symphony of strength, spirit and service.

·        Our life is not only for our benefit but also for our entire world.

·        The brimming talents of our students were brought out by conducting E.A.  competitions and the winners were awarded.

·        Vasista house won the trophy. The house inchargesSmt.Nallammal Teacher and Smt.Saranya Teacher with the toppers received it.

· Academic toppers of 2022-2023 were also honoured by Mann.Hanumantaraoji.

·        Sri.S.SanjeeviRajan, Vice Principal presented the vote of thanks.

The students revealed the beauty of our tradition, through Bharathanatiyam, dance, song and Villupattu. 


    The cultural program was hosted by the students Mary Refaya and SreeVarsha of class IX.


·        The celebration concluded with Kendra prarthana.
