# The program commenced with the official Invocation, setting a solemn and spiritual tone for the day.

# A formal welcome address was delivered by Haritha from Class IX to greet the gathering.

# A traditional Tamil song ("Achyutam Keshavan...") was beautifully rendered by the sisters of Class VII and VIII.

# Sobana from Class VII delivered an insightful speech highlighting the importance of the day, shedding light on the cultural significance of Gokulashtami and Rakshabandhan.

The Chief Guest Address was delivered by Shri. Shritharan Ji, who shared inspiring thoughts with the students.

Highlighted points:

·         Sri Sridharanjil spoke on human values, drawing on themes of friendship from the Ramayana and the Mahabharatha (e.g., Kannan and Kuselan).

·         "Wherever love resides, the divine presence lives", "Dharma teaches that the divine exists within every living being. by extending love and compassion to others. Treating others with love is a direct expression of recognizing and respecting that sacred spark.

·         Raksha Bandhan symbolizes unity, bringing people together regardless of conflicts.

·         Karna exemplified righteousness by standing by his word, serving as an example for students to practice sacrifice and help others.

·         Teachers' Day: Explores the Guru-Shishya bond (e.g., Kannan-Parasurama, Karnan-Dronacharya). Ji narrated "The story of the sculpture and the stone" gave a message that, the teacher acts as the master sculptor. Their guidance, strict discipline, corrections, and rigorous tests are not meant to hurt the student, but to chisel away ignorance, bad habits, and raw potential into refined skill and wisdom.

·         Highlighted the core pillars of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh - environment, family values, social harmony, self-reliance and civic duty.

# Students took part in Sharing Experience regarding Teachers Day, adding a collaborative element to celebration.

# To mark the occasion of Rakshabandhan, a symbolic Tying Rakhi ceremony took place where sister Vijishma (Class XI A) tied a Rakhi to brother Koushik (Class IX B) and they both tied to the Guests and the Principal.

# A formal Presenting memento ceremony was conducted where Mann. Rekha Didi honored the Chief Guest.

# The Presidential Address was delivered by Mann. Rekha Didi, emphasizing core values and community harmony.

Highlighted points:

·         Rekha Didi emphasized that Raksha Bandhan signifies protecting Dharma, echoing Sri Krishna's message to Arjuna in Bhagavad Gita to do what is right.

·         We must actively decide our actions and learn good virtues from noble figures like Swami Vivekananda.

·         Raksha Bandhan stands for protecting Dharma, serving the country, and helping anyone in stress or straying from the right path—exemplified by Draupadi tying a Rakhi to Sri Krishna.

·         Krishna's act of "stealing butter" symbolizes the joy of sharing with others, urging everyone to reflect daily on how to do good for those around them.

·         Focus on doing positive and helpful deeds, as performing good actions naturally eliminates bad tendencies, and Bharath Matha protects those who do good.

·         Maintain positive thoughts—as Swami Vivekananda noted, you become what you think.

·         "Before going to sleep, practice daily reflection: cherish the good deeds of today and map out your good deeds for tomorrow."

# The traditional festive game of Uriyadi (pot-breaking) was organized, adding high energy and excitement to the celebration.

# Smt.Selva Nithya Teacher read the official prize list. The Guest felicitated the 90A toppers and Student-teachers.

# The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by sister Keerthi (Class IX), followed by the closing Kendra Prarthana and prasadam was distributed to all the participants.

Raksha Bandhan and Gokulashtami beautifully remind us to love, protect, and care for one another—not just within our own families, but also the gentle animals and nature around us.
