Personality Development Camp for VI standard students-2023

     Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kanyakumari organised Personality Development Camp for VI STD students from 26^th October 2023 to 29^th October 2023.

     

    The camp started with Bhajan Sandhya on 26^th October. Smt.K.G.Sariga, Principal of VKV, Kanyakumari briefed the participants regarding the camp , its aims and objectives at 8.30 p.m.

            On 27^th October, camp routine started at 6 am with pratahsmaran followed by Yogabhyas, shrama samskara and Alpahar. In the first session at 9.30 a.m. Ramayana was narrated by Smt.Vimala akka, Balwadi Teacher, VK, Marthandam. Kum. Leela akka of VKRDP explained the incidents from the life Swami Vivekananda in the second session. 

    Then the participants had their lunch followed by song session conducted by Sri.Manikumar, Music Teacher, VKV. Later they had a session on Mahabharatha by Smt.Kalarani akka, Balwadi Teacher, VK Sakthithanapuram. Then the students enacted the incidents from the life of Swami Vivekananda in groups. All the participants enthusiastically participated in the Kendra Varga and Bhajan Sandhya. The day’s sessions ended with happy assembly.

            On 28^th October the students had sessions on Story of Rock Memorial by Dr.R.Sudarakumar, Teacher of VKV and Life of Swami Vivekananda by Smt.T.Sindhu, Teacher VKV. After lunch the participants were taken to visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

            On 29^th October at 8.30 a.m was the concluding session. Mann.Nivedita Didi, Vice President of VRM & VK addressed the students.
