‘International day of Yoga’ was celebrated to
emphasize the importance of inculcating our ancient Indian art in our lives and
to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success in the world.
Archaeological Survey of India under the ministry of culture, Government of India conducted a mass Yoga demonstration at Vivekananda Kendra Sunrise point. 605 students and 60 staff of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kanyakumari participated and performed the yoga.
