Kendra Vidyalaya celebrated Children’s Day on 14th Nov 2019. It started at 2.50 pm.
The
programme was initiated with an invocation song which was sung by IX standard
boys.
Welcome
address was delivered by Sanjana Lakshmi of XI standard.
M.Prasitha of VIII Standard
presented her speech about “Children’s Day” in English.
The “Hand Written Magazine”
which was written by the students of our school was released by our honourable
chief guest Sri. A.Bensigar Rajan.

A.Bensigar Rajan, Manager of Cryogenic Rocket Engine Instrumentation systems,
ISRO, Mahendragiri addressed the gathering.
He advised the students to utilize the energy to attain success in
life. He recalled the quotes of Swami
Vivekananda. He explained that the
development of Science and Techniques depend upon the students. He advised the students to learn everything with
understanding. He quoted some of the
scientists like Alexander, Newton
and Thomas Alva Edison. He exhibited
that the teachers should be the role model to the students and they should
update their subject knowledge. He insisted
the students to avoid using mobile phones.
He also asked the students to develop the team work and to make the
leadership quality among them. He specified
that the students should utilize the library to develop their knowledge.
The song was sung by 7th
standard girls about children.
The president of the function
Mann.Hanumanta Raoji, Treasurer of VRM & VK delivered his presidential
address. He appreciated the children’s
work in publishing Viveka Manjari and the Science and Arts Exhibition. He expressed that raising questions would
make the students to get answers and they could develop their knowledge. He recommended that team work of Science and
arts Exhibition will have been expected in the next academic year.
Vote of thanks was proposed by
G.Jani Nishmitha of IX Standard.
Finally the programme was
concluded by Kendra prarthana at 3.45 p.m.
