VINAYAGA CHATHURTHI



VINAYAGA CHATHURTHI:
            Vinayaga Chathurthi is an important festival in India. During this festival the idols of God Ganesha are kept infront of the temple which is elaborately decorated with flowers, lights, etc. People prepare various sweets, fruits and bengal gram and offer it with great devotion. Various forms of music are an essential part of this procession.

          Vinayaga Chathurthi was celebrated in our school in a grand manner. It was started on 29-08-2014 and it was celebrated by IX and XI standard students. L.K.G.and U.K.G. classes celebrated on 30-08-2014.
          VII and VIII classes celebrated on 31-08-2014. I and II classes celebrated on 01-09-2014. III and IV classes celebrated on 02-09-2014. V standared students celebrated on 03-09-2014. VI standard students celebrated on 04-09-2014.
          The final day celebration was by X and XII class teachers and students.The students chanted with famous Ganesha songs and offered flowers for Ganesha. Finally the Visarjan of Ganesha was done at 11.00 A.M. in the sea.
