Ø  The sports day celebration was initiated with an invocation.

Ø  Kum.Siva Darshini of class IX warmly welcomed the gathering.

Ø  Kum. Sahaya Anslin Shenally of class X proposed the importance of Sports day.

Ø  Chief Guest’s address:

        Our honourable chief guest shared his experience as alumni of VKV, Kanyakumari.

v    An average student

v    Enjoyed sports

v    Kendra gave opportunities for sports students.

v    He also shared a few words about his physical instructor, Shri.Hariharan Sir who motivated him a lot.

v    Goal reaching became easy.

v    Concentrate on sports and competitive exams.

v    Don’t get distraction

v    Physical health is very important.

Ø  Our chief guest honoured the winners who actively participated in all the events.

Ø  Smt. Viji, teacher read out the winners name list.  Overall championship in boys and girls were also awarded.

Ø  Our respected Principal, Smt.Sariga presented the memento to the Chief Guest.

Ø  Kum.L.K.Swetha of class X showered her gratitude to all.

Ø  Running, Relay, Shot-put and Long jump events were conducted and winners were also honoured.

Ø  Sports day celebration was concluded with Kendra Prarthana.

Mathru Pooja Celebration Report - 2025

Ø        Mathru Pooja celebration was initiated with an invocation song by Kum.Babitha teacher.

Ø      Smt.Geetha teacher presented the welcome address.

Ø     Importance of Mathru Pooja was explained by Smt. Uma Selvi teacher.She described the life of Aadhi Sankarar.

Ø     And Mathru Pooja was also conducted by Smt.Uma Selvi teacher.

Presidential Address:

·       Aa.Priyamvada Didi initiated her speech by conveying her satisfaction on seeing paduka Pooja.

·         She shared her visit to an orphanage in Nagpur where they don’t get a bond of a family but food, shelter, care and medicine.

·         Love for family is endless.

·         By visiting them, we can understand the value of our family.

·         Didi recalled the words of Mann. Parameshwaranji as told by him in a camp “All of you love your mother endless and so you came to do service to our mother Bharat”.

·         Whole family is one home.

·         Cherish your experience,whole life will be good.

At the end of the celebration, 6 students and 3 parents shared their experience based on mathru Pooja.

The programme was concluded with Shanthi Mantra.
